It Ends Tonight

Written by Nick Wheeler and Tyson Ritter, It Ends Tonight is a 2005 song by the American rock-band The All-American Rejects, from their album Move Along. It includes a string section arranged by composer Deborah Lurie. The single reached number-eight on the Billboard Hot 100. It Ends Tonight has appeared several times in media programs, including a trailer for the television series One Tree Hill, an episode of the television program Smallville, and the television soap-opera All My Children.

The All-American Rejects is an American alternative rock band formed in Stillwater, Oklahoma, in 1999. The band consists of lead vocalist and bass-guitarist/pianist Tyson Ritter, lead guitarist and backing vocalist Nick Wheeler, rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist Mike Kennerty, and percussionist Chris Gaylor. Their albums include The All-American Rejects (2003), Move Along (2005), When the World Comes Down (2008), and Kids in the Street (2012). They have sold over ten million albums. The All-American Rejects were ranked number-73 on the "Hot 100 Artists of the 2000s" and number-183 on Billboard magazine's "Billboard 200 Artists of the Decade" list.
