If I Fell

Written primarily by John Lennon, with the assistance of Paul McCartney, If I Fell is a Beatles song that first appeared on their famous 1964 United Kingdom album A Hard Day's Night and their United States album Something New. The song is notable for its unusual structure, which includes an unrepeated introductory section, followed by sequential verse sections, each having a slightly expanded form, but with no obvious chorus or bridge section.

Among the most successful and acclaimed performers and writers in the history of popular music, the Beatles (1960 - 1970) were an English rock band, formed in Liverpool, England. Beginning in 1962, the group consisted of John Lennon (rhythm guitar, vocals), Paul McCartney (bass guitar, vocals), George Harrison (lead guitar, vocals) and Ringo Starr (drums, vocals). Rooted in skiffle and 1950s rock-and-roll, the group later worked in many genres ranging from pop ballads to psychedelic rock, often incorporating classical and other elements in innovative ways. Enormously popularity, their influence extend into the social and cultural revolutions of the 1960s.
