Help I'm Alive

Written by Emily Haines, Help I'm Alive is the lead single from the rock-group Metric's fourth studio album Fantasies. The song reached number 26 on Triple J's Hottest 100 (Australia) in 2009. It has been featured in the television series 90210, The Vampire Diaries, and Grey's Anatomy; the movies Defendor, Zombieland, and Miss Representation; and the video game NBA 2K10.

Metric is a Canadian rock-group founded in 1998. It consists of singer/songwriter Emily Haines (who also plays the synthesizer and guitar), guitarist James Shaw (who also plays the synthesizer and theremin), bassist Joshua Winstead, and drummer Joules Scott-Key. Its music has been used in video games, movies, and television programs.
