Gustav Lange: Works

Gustav Lange (1830 - 1889) was a German composer known mainly for his melodious salon-music for the piano. His numerous compositions include about five hundred light and popular piano pieces. Two of his best-known works, both published in 1867, are Blumenlied (Flower Song), Opus 39, in F major; and Edelweiss, Opus 31, sometimes called Pure as Snow.
