Gabriel's Oboe

Gabriel's Oboe is the main musical theme from the 1986 movie The Mission, which earned composer Ennio Morricone a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score. The piece has been arranged and performed by artists such as Yo-Yo Ma, and it is the basis for vocalist Sarah Brightman's song Nella Fantasia and for soprano Hayley Westenra's song Whispers In A Dream.
