Frozen: Soundtrack

Frozen: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is the soundtrack to the award-winning 2013 Disney animated movie Frozen. The soundtrack features ten songs written and composed by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, and twenty-two score pieces composed by Christophe Beck. It features the song Let It Go (movie version performed by Idina Menzel; single version performed by Demi Lovato), which has received critical acclaim, including nominations for a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song and a Critics' Choice Award for Best Song.

The album received widespread critical acclaim from music critics, and ranked number-eighteen on the Billboard 200 chart. As of 30 January 2014, the soundtrack has sold 769,000 copies in the United States. The album was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America, and peaked at number-one on the Billboard album chart, becoming the fourth soundtrack album from an animated movie to reach that milestone.

The movie Frozen won the Golden Globe Award for Best Animated Feature Film, five Annie Awards (including Best Animated Feature), two Critics' Choice Awards (for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song (Let It Go)). It has been nominationed for two Academy Awards (Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song), for a BAFTA award, and for a Satellite Award.

Robert Lopez (born in 1975) is an American songwriter, well known for his work on the animated movie Frozen (2013), and the musicals The Book of Mormon (2011) and Avenue Q (2003). He received Tony Awards for both of those musicals.

Kristen Anderson-Lopez is an American actress and songwriter, best known for her work on the animated movies Frozen (2013) and Winnie the Pooh (2011). She has been married to Robert Lopez since October of 2003.

Christophe Beck is a Canadian television and movie-score composer. He won an Emmy Award in 1998 for his work on the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. He has numerous movie credits.
