First Love

First Love is a song by singer-songwriter Hikaru Utada. It was released as a single in April of 1999, and it is included in her album with the same name, released one month earlier. The song was used as the theme song for the Japanese drama Majo no Jōken, and is featured in the PlayStation-2 game Unison, released in 2001. There have been cover versions by several artists, including Juju in her 2010 album Request.

Born in New York City in 1983, Hikaru Utada (宇多田 ヒカル) is a Japanese-American singer, songwriter, arranger, and producer. She is known as "Utada" in Europe and the United States. Twelve of her singles ranked number-one on the Oricon Singles chart; and three of her studio-albums rank in the list of Top-10 selling albums ever in Japan. Her album First Love is the best selling album ever in Asia.
