Eugen Doga Works

Written by Eugen Doga (Евгений Дмитриевич Дога), Vals is the musical theme for the movie A Hunting Accident, a 1978 Soviet film directed by Emil Loteanu and adapted from Anton Chekhov's novella The Shooting Party (1884). The movie appeared in the Feature Film Competition at the 1978 Cannes Film Festival. It's Russian name is Мой ласковый и нежный зверь (Moy laskovyy i nezhnyy zver), and it is also called My Sweet and Tender Beast.

Portrait (Портрет) is a piece for piano solo in G minor composed by Eugen Doga for the 1981 Soviet movie Portrait of the Artist's Wife (Портрет жены художника).
