Dust in The Wind
Written by Kerry Livgren, Dust in the Wind is a song popularized by the rock-band Kansas' 1977 recording. In 1978, their single was "certified gold" by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America), and in 2005, their digital-download was also "certified gold" by the RIAA.
Kerry Allen Livgren (born in 1949) is an American songwriter, guitarist, and keyboard player. A founding member and primary songwriter for the rock-band Kansas, he composed Carry On Wayward Son as well as Dust in the Wind.
Founded in 1970, Kansas is an American rock-band. It produced eight gold albums, one platinum album, two triple-platinum albums, and one platinum live-album.
