Donnie Darko
Released in 2002, the soundtrack of the 2001 movie Donnie Darko consists of seventeen instrumental works by Michael Andrews, and covers of Roland Orzabal's 1983 song Mad World (originally popularized by the English band Tears for Fears). Andrews' instrumental piece Did You Know Him? is Track 17.
Michael Andrews (born in 1967) is an American musician and movie-score composer. He is best known for a cover version of the song Mad World that he recorded with Gary Jules for the Donnie Darko soundtrack. The Andrews/Jules version was a number-one single in the UK in December of 2003.
