Cursum Perficio

Cursum Perficio is a piece from Enya's 1988 album Watermark. The music was composed and sung by Enya, and the lyrics were written by Roma Ryan. In Cursum Perficio, Enya reaches a C an octave below middle C, and later sings a high A-flat above the treble clef.

Enya (born in 1961) is an Irish singer, instrumentalist, and composer. Known for her voice-layering, folk melodies, synthesised backdrops, and ethereal reverberations, she has won four Grammy Awards for Best New Age Album. Her song May It Be was featured in the first installment (Fellowship of the Ring) of The Lord of the Rings movie trilogy and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 2002.
