Cristofori’s Dream is a piece from David Lanz's 1988/1999 album of compositions for solo piano with the same name. The album, which sold platinum, topped the New Age charts in 1988, and was number-1 for 27 weeks on Billboard's first adult alternative/New Age chart.
David Lanz (born in 1950) is an American New Age pianist and composer. He has released many albums, including his 1985 album (with Paul Speer) Natural States, which reached number-125 on the Billboard 200, and his 2000 album East of the Moon, whichreceived a Grammy Nomination for Best New Age Recording.
