Crazy

Written by Willie Nelson in 1961, Crazy is a popular song recorded by many artists, most notably Patsy Cline whose version was a big hit in 1962. The song is one of Cline's signature tunes, and its success helped launch Nelson as a performer as well as a songwriter. Patsy Cline's version of Crazy ranked number-85 on Rolling Stone's list of The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.

Willie Nelson (born in 1933) is an American singer/songwriter, as well as an author, poet, actor, and activist. Following the releases of his albums Shotgun Willie (1973), Red Headed Stranger (1975), and Stardust (1978), he became one of the most recognized artists in country music. Nelson has acted in over thirty movies, co-authored several books, and is an advocate for the use of biofuels and the legalization of marijuana.
