Cancer is a song from the rock opera The Black Parade composed and performed by the American rock band My Chemical Romance. The story concerns a dying person with cancer, his apparent death, his experiences in the afterlife, and subsequent reflections on his life.
Produced by Rob Cavallo, The Black Parade album (2006), has received generally favorable reviews. It debuted at number two on both the Billboard 200 and the UK Albums Chart.
