Can't Help Falling In Love

Written by George Weiss, Hugo Peretti, and Luigi Creatore, Can't Help Falling in Love is a song based on the French love song Plaisir d'amour (The Joys of Love) written in 1780 by Jean Paul Egide Martini. It was adapted for inclusion in the 1961 movie Blue Hawaii, in which it was sung by Elvis Presley.

Presley's version of the song topped the British charts in 1962, and has been used in other movies, including Coyote Ugly and Walt Disney's Lilo and Stitch. The song has been covered by numerous artists, most notably the British reggae group UB40, whose 1993 version topped singles charts in the United States and the United Kingdom.
