Byul (별) from the movie 200 Pounds Beauty
Byul (별 in Korean, and Star in English) is a song performed by Kim Ah-joong (김아중) in the 2006 Korean romance-comedy movie 200 Pounds Beauty (미녀는 괴로워). Well-received by critics and a financial success, the movie is based on the Japanese manga Kanna-san, Daiseikou Desu (カンナさん大成功です!) by Yumiko Suzuki. The story is about an overweight girl who undergoes plastic surgery to become a pop sensation. For her performance in the movie, Kim Ah-joong won the Best Actress award at the 2007 Grand Bell Awards.
Kim Ah-joong (김아중) (born in 1982) is a South Korean actress, model, and singer. She is best known for playing the main character in the movie 200 Pounds Beauty.
