Becoming Jane is a 2007 award-winning British historical movie about the early life of English author Jane Austen. The final screenplay was developed by Sarah Williams and Kevin Hood. The movie is partly based on the 2003 book Becoming Jane Austen by Jon Hunter Spence.
Adrian Johnston (born in 1961) is a British musician and composer for movies and television. He has written music for movies such as Jude (1996), Becoming Jane (2007), Brideshead Revisited (2008), and the BBC movie Capturing Mary (2008 BAFTA award). Among the television programs for which he composed music are Charles Sturridge's mini-series Shackleton (2002 Primetime Emmy), the British science-fiction television-series Paradox (2009), and the BBC drama The Sinking of the Laconia (2011).
