Back to the Future Theme
The Back to the Future Theme is a piece of music from the comedy/science-fiction movie series Back to the Future (1985, 1989, 1990). It was written by Alan Silvestri, who wrote the soundtrack for the series, and is included in the album The Back to the Future Trilogy, the licensed soundtrack to the movie series.
Alan Silvestri (born in 1950) is an American film score composer and conductor. The many movies for which he wrote film scores include: Romancing the Stone (1984), the Back to the Future trilogy (1985, 1989, 1990), Predator (1987), Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988), Predator 2 (1990), Forrest Gump (1994), Cast Away (2000), The Polar Express (2004), Beowulf (2007), and A Christmas Carol (2009).
