Arrietty's Song
Arrietty's Song was composed by Cécile Corbel for the 2010 Japanese movie The Borrower Arrietty (借りぐらしのアリエッティ), in which she performed the song. The song is included in the soundtrack album of the movie, which was ranked 31st on the Orion charts. The Borrower Arrietty was the highest grossing Japanese movie at the Japanese box office for the year 2010, and it was released in North America with the name The Secret World of Arrietty.
Cécile Corbel (born in 1980),is a French (Breton) singer and harpist. She has released four albums of original music and worked for Studio Ghibli as a composer for its movie, The Borrower Arrietty. Corbel sings in many languages including French, Italian, Breton, and English, and she has done songs in German, Irish, Turkish, and Japanese.
