Phang Nga Bay day trip
Tour Itinerary
There is no fixed itinerary for our Phang Nga Bay Tour, as we design the sightseeing tour around what you want. However to give you an idea here an example.
07:00 – Our English speaking tour guide will collect you at your Phuket hotel. Transfer to Phang Nga province where our long tail boat is waiting for you. Depending on your hotel location the transfer will take 1 – 1.5 hours.
08:30 – Long tail ride through the mangrove river out into Phang Nga Bay. First we visit James Bond Island to avoid the crowds. The lone pillar island is an impressive natural statue. We cruise past several other “Hong” islands and through some caves on our way to Koh Panyee sea gypsy village, a water village in wooden stilts. Koh Panyee gets a bad rap as a tourist trap but behind the souvenir stands is a real community that has been there for over 200 years and smiling local faces abound.
12.00 – After your Phang Nga bay tour its time for lunch time at the National Park near the canal, fresh and relaxing place with delicious Thai food and sea food.
13.30 – Stop at Sawan Kuha Temple, a cave temple with a large reclining Buddha statue inside the cave
14:30 – visit Samet Nangshe Viewpoint is one of the most popular panoramas in Phang Nga.

Koh Phi Phi or Phi Phi islands are located in the middle of the Andaman Sea, 42 km away from Amphoe Mueang. It is a part of Nopharat Thara Beach – Phi Phi Islands National Park which contains 2 big islands – Koh Phi Phi Don and Koh Phi Phi Le, and 4 smaller islands nearby – Koh Yung, Koh Mai Phai, Koh Pida Nok and Koh Pida Nai.
Koh Phi Phi also features a vibrant nightlife, with Tonsai Beach containing dozens of beach bars and restaurants and lively Tonsai Village consisting of a maze of shops, bars, and restaurants. Smaller beaches around the island are alternatively ideal for honeymooners, families, those on a budget, and those looking for the ultimate luxury resort retreat.
Phi Phi Le was featured in the Hollywood blockbuster movie The Beach, a story about the ultimate secluded island beach. Maya Bay was a suitable choice as it epitomizes the stunning beauty of these islands: a bay of pellucid aquamarine water surrounded by towering limestone cliffs that harbours an arcing, white sand beach.
The waters surrounding the Phi Phi Islands are filled with exotic marine life, including docile leopard sharks, and snorkelling and diving day trip rival lounging on the beach as top activities on Koh Phi Phi.
Key Tips
The best time to visit Koh Phi Phi is between the months of November and April when the weather is more temperate and the rains are less frequent.
In the low season, visitors can expect discounted room rates. In the peak season (around Christmas and New Years) it is recommended that you book your room in advance.
If you plan to scuba dive, make sure your scuba diving instructor is fully accredited.
Don’t go topless on the beach if you are a woman and don’t walk around shirtless if you are a man unless you are at the beach; please respect Thai values regarding appropriate attire.
