About

I am Péter Hudomiet, a full economist at the RAND Corporation. My main research interests are labor economics, the economics of aging, health economics and applied econometrics.

Currently my research focuses on:

  • dementia prevalence, dementia trends and dementia risk factors
  • subjective and objective well-being of the older population
  • occupational skills and retirement
  • subjective expectations of older Americans

I have published papers about the prevalence and the costs of dementia in the United States; about subjective and objective job demands at older ages; about retirement; and about the subjective survival expectations of older Americans.

I graduated from the Department of Economics at the University of Michigan in 2015. I was born in Budapest, Hungary.
