Ever want to photograph something really close up? Can't afford the super expensive macro lenses and don't like cropping all of the resolution out of your images? The good news is if you have a digital SLR and a wide angle lens you already have everything you need to get larger than life macro photography!

Older lenses are better to use for this because they have functional aperture rings giving you control of your aperture opening.

You might want a UV filter on the lens so any of the metal mount parts don't scratch any of the non-replaceable glass.
