I looked around so long. The pressure is too strong.
I cannot get up.
My eyes remain shut.
I hear her fast asleep, covered in all my sheets.
She’s snoring so gracefully.
I can’t leave abruptly.
The morning’s already gone.
The night is always so long.
Suddenly I hear – nothing at all.
Then I hear yawning.
She wakes up real late in the night – asking for me.
I do not know how to respond so I just wave.
This hold that she has me locked in is making me happy.
Might we finally go out or will the venom kill me?
She circles around me, asking what time it was.
The darkness tells everything.
She cannot see anything.
Her hair is tangled.
Our lives are labeled.
Consider us strangers just having some fun.
The moment is over.
We’re not getting closer.
I am leaving her place, but then she starts to say, “You should just stay and…”
“…Come with me. I want to be with you one more night.”
“Stay with me.” “Stay with meeeeeee.”
She grabbed me and lifted all of my soul.
I’m no longer the one in control.
She stretched her neck farther than I could see.
I finally realized that I am not free.
She bit my neck, and the blood kept pouring.
I thought I was falling, but I was really dying.
I cried for help, but no one would answer.
The venom’s in me – so it didn’t matter anyway.
