Saphira

The majestic blue dragon, Saphira, is brave and ferocious in battle, but also deep in ancient wisdom. She thinks before flying headfirst into battle. Saphira prefers the solitude of the wilderness to the populated cities of Alagaesia.She is a big, blue dragon, as you can see in the picture. She is Eragon's dragon and companion.

Eragon

Eragon is the main character in Eldest. He is a human who looks like an elf who has brown hair, brown eyes, and a Gedwëy ignasia on his right palm. His dragon is Sapira. He is a Dragon Rider who is brave and kind, but can be careless and may sometimes not think about his actions.

Durza

Durza is a power-hungry, demanding, controlling Shade. Durza fights on the side of King Galbatorix.He has longish, bright red hair, maroon eyes, and a deathly white face. He has tried many times to kill Eragon. Durza was killed by Eragon in Farthen Dûr.

Arya Dröttning

Arya is an elf who has black hair and green eyes. She is the daughter of the queen of the elves, which, of course, makes her a princess. She is ferocious in battle and keeps many secrets. She loves nature and is very noble. Arya never shows her emotions.Arya is a guide for Eragon in the elven city of Ellsméra.

Galbatorix

Galbatorix has black hair and eyes, tan skin that looked like it was made of copper, and a sharp face. He is a cruel, crazy, and evil ruler who took the throne by force. He often betrays people and is the villian in the story.
