Included in the ZIP File are:
PETEPEN8.EXE - Version negative eight of the Pete the Penguin game engine.
PETE1TO6.MAP - Level maps for areas 1-6 and part of area 7. Area 8 is still in development.
PETEPENG.DAT - All runtime game data is in this file, except the maps.
ALLEG44.DLL - The wrapper for the game. This file is required to stay in the game's directory.
