Supervisor: Dr. Christophe Stolz [link]
Aim: Use of vision techniques (Statistical and Probabilistic approach) for Industrial tube inspection (Crack detection)
- I have extended Maximum Likelihood approach used for object detection to detect cracks in acquired tube images. I also proposed a spatial image processing techniques which I called Maximum Neighborhood to detect cracks.
- During this internship, I learn how to define any kind of filter in image processing applications. I also learn how to model noise and Image generally using maximum likelihood approach. I improve my knowledge on the use of probabilistic and Graphical approach in Image processing applications.
