Prior to starting with my academic career, I served as the Manager of Analytical Services for JDA Software’s Pricing and Revenue Management Group, leading the operations research team in North America, consisting of intermediate and senior level consultants. During my six years of tenure at JDA, I served as the principal solution architect and lead OR consultant on various implementations in hospitality, golf, luxury yacht rentals, and retail (markdown optimization for high fashion apparel and consumer electronics). I led the design and development of an industry-generic price optimization solution for leisure, travel and hospitality. My work with the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group on stay night price optimization became a finalist for the 2012 INFORMS Franz Edelman Award and the 2013 INFORMS Revenue Management and Pricing Section Practice Award. I am still actively involved in projects with industry collaborators.
