I am a Professor of Analytics at Wake Forest University School of Business. I was formerly a Dean's Fellow and Associate Professor of Management Science in the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. I also served as the faculty director for the Master of Science in Business Analytics program. Prior to that, I was a visiting assistant professor in the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial & Systems Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology.
Prior to starting with my academic career, I led the operations research team in North America for JDA Software’s Pricing and Revenue Management Group. I worked in a variety of projects including markdown pricing for retail; forecasting and price optimization for hospitality, passenger travel, golf, luxury yacht rental and other leisure industries.
I received M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in industrial and systems engineering from Georgia Tech, and B.S. and M.S. degrees in industrial engineering from Bogazici University, Istanbul, Turkey.
