PEG Partners are local non-profit organizations in Marin County who offer parent education programs or or work with schools and school districts on resources for Tk-12 parents and caregivers. These organizations are aligned with PEG's mission and have long standing relationships with many schools in Marin. The Marin County Office of Education offers programs and services for students, teachers, and families in Marin County. MCOE services seventeen school districts in our county, supporting technology and educational services in public as well as private K-12 institutions. Learn more about them here.
Marin Healthy Youth Partnership is a local nonprofit organization that partners with community organizations and institutions, volunteers, youth and prevention experts to implement evidence-based strategies that foster a healthier environment for all Marin youth. Let’s Talk, a Marin Healthy Youth Partnerships program, equips parents with the knowledge and resources to navigate conversations about substance use. Through expert-led discussions, local data, and support services, it helps families make informed choices. All materials and events are available in English and Spanish. ScreenSense provide parents, caregivers, and educators support through education, consulting, and community-building. They give parents and caregivers practical tools to have the hard and messy conversations necessary to parent in a digital world. It Takes a Village cultivates community and education for Mill Valley parents, especially those with students needing extra support. ITAV curates the Mill Valley PTA Speaker Series as well as monthly parent hikes and coffees. ITAV is a district-wide Parent Teacher Association lead by parent representatives from every school, teachers, administrators and special support representatives.
