DAY OF THE FAIR: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f084baca722abfc1-peace2
The Peace Fair is looking for non-profit exhibitors, craft vendors, advertisements for our program, volunteers, and donations!
Application forms are at the bottom of the page.
Exhibit Tables for Non-Profits and Crafters
Display information about your non-profit organization or your craft wares at a table at the Peace Fair. Rental of all spaces is $40, with a $5 discount if paid by July 1. A table and chairs are provided.
Guidelines: Although guided by Quaker principles of peace, equality, social justice, and stewardship of the environment, the Peace Fair is a nonsectarian and nonpartisan event, and we require that you refrain from sharing religious or partisan political materials. This is especially important in this contentious election year. This event is meant to attract people of all persuasions and opinions and all materials should be non-partisan, nonabrasive in content, and appropriate for a family audience. We have found that material presented in a factual and positive fashion can reach a larger audience. The Peace Fair Committee reserves the right to remove material the committee feels is inappropriate.
Your advertisement in the printed Peace Fair program will reach thousands of visitors with your message! Ads are available in three sizes for $30, $50, or $90. Click on the form at the bottom of the page for an application.
We need volunteer help from Quakers and non-Quakers on the day of the Fair, on the day before for set-up, and in the weeks prior to the Fair for planning and organizing. On the day of the Fair, volunteers usually work two hour shifts and may run booths, help with food service, do recycling, or involve themselves with any of the countless other tasks needed to run the Fair. If you are available at any of these times, please e-mail email@example.com or call Peter Ray, Peace Fair coordinator, at 215-794-5816.
Contribute to the Peace Fair
We welcome your contributions of used books, baked goods or other needed items to the Peace Fair. Used books can be dropped off at any time on the Buckingham Meetinghouse porch. A commitment to contribute baked goods to the Peace Fair Cafe can be made by e-mailing us what you can bring and what time on September 15th or 16th you will be bringing them to the Meetinghouse so we can meet you there.
