I am a lecturer in the Economics Division of the Stirling Management School at the University of Stirling. where I am the co-director of Undergraduate studies. I am passionate about higher education in both my research and my teaching.
My PhD in Economics was awarded by the University of Stirling in 2018.
Thesis: "Three Essays in the Economics of Higher Education"
I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), and I have a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (PGCert LTHE). I am applying for Senior Fellowship in 19/20.

My research areas are the economics of higher education, labour economics, behavioural economics, and the economics of languages (including bilingualism). I am particularly interested in analysing policies through natural experiments and estimating treatment effects.
