Consequences

The fall semester consequences have been determined prior to the semester starting, so that in the event a consequence is given, it is not taken personally.

You must: pay dues, attend all mandatory events, get your picture taken for the composite, work a one hour time slot at the Marco Villa Raffle Table, volunteer at the St. Jude 5K Walk/Run, and participate in one volunteer event, one professional event, and one committee during the fall semester.

Excused absence at a mandatory event

(Formal Meetings, Alumni Roundtable, Elections, Composite Picture Day, St. Jude 5K Walk/Run, ONE hour Marco Villa timeslot)

In order to be excused, you must submit your excuse at least one week before the event to Brittany via email (WCC.PDC@gmail.com). For formal meetings, you must submit your excuse to Katie (WMA.PDC@gmail.com). If you do not send in an excuse before the deadline, it will be considered an unexcused absence, and you will be required to pay the $10 fine and help set up the next mandatory event. Excuses include illness, emergencies, and major life events (weddings, graduations, etc). Work will only be considered excused in extreme circumstances as you already have all the mandatory dates for the semester.

$10 fine + required to help set up next mandatory event.

If you fail to pay and help with the next mandatory event, you will be placed on probation for the next semester.

Failure to meet Professional, Volunteer, and Committee Requirements

$10 fine per missed requirement and probation for the 2017 fall semester.
