19/08/2020: Latest update of the website. Pramod has taken up a position in the group of Prof. Jung Hoon Han at the Department of Physics, Sungkyunkwan University. Daniel has moved to a new position in the group of Prof. Dimitris Angelakis at the Centre for Quantum Technologies, National University of Singapore.
6/7/2020: We have recently completed a few papers:
JungYun's study of quantum light propagation in helical coupled resonator waveguides is available on arXiv.
Sinan's work on lasing in topological lattices was published in Optics Letters.
Our long review on nonlinear topological photonics was published in Applied Physics Reviews.
We have proposed leaky photonic lattices as an interesting platform for exploring non-Hermitian and topological band structure effects.

1/12/2019: Our recent research on the non-Hermitian topology of electromagnetic surface waves was selected by Optics and Photonics News as one of the top results in optics published in the past year!
4-8/11/2019: Daniel gave an invited lecture on photonic lattices at the ICTP Asian Network School and Workshop on Complex Condensed Matter Systems at the University of the Philippines, Diliman.
10/9/2019: Daniel is guest editor for a Special Issue "Topological Photonics" in the MDPI Journal Photonics. The deadline for manuscript submission is 31 March 2020.
6/9/2019: Two of our experimental collaborations on silicon photonics have recently been published in Physical Review Letters: "Photonic Quantum Anomalous Hall Effect" demonstrates a photonic analogue of the Haldane model using a lattice of coupled silicon microring resonators. This system is promising for the development of disorder-robust reconfigurable integrated nanophotonic devices for applications in classical and quantum information processing. This work was highlighted as an Editor's Suggestion and featured in Physics. The second paper "Third-Harmonic Generation in Photonic Topological Metasurfaces" uses topological arrays of silicon nanopillars to generate third harmonic radiation with tunable localization. This study shows how to combine nonlinear optics with topological physics to develop robust integrated photonic circuitry at the nanoscale.

18/2/2019: JungYun completed his first manuscript! We show how to engineer disorder-resistant wave transport in one-dimensional wave systems using spin-momentum locking. This approach may be useful for further miniaturising topological photonic waveguides. The preprint is now available on arXiv.
4/2/2019: Our paper "Topological non-Hermitian origin of surface Maxwell waves" was published in Nature Communications and featured by Physics World.
