Our group conducts research on exciting topics in theoretical photonics, including topological phenomena, nonlinear light propagation and solitons, non-Hermitian wave systems, and disorder effects. While our work is theoretical we are also very interested in seeing our ideas tested in the lab and maintain close collaborations with a number of international experimental groups. We are based at the Center for Theoretical Physics of Complex Systems, part of the Korean Institute for Basic Science. Our work is generously supported by a Young Science Fellowship.
