I am currently a scientific officer at the European Commisson's Joint Research Center in Ispra; Economic and financial resilience Unit. I am also (weakly) affiliated with Central European University, and a research associate of the Institute of Economics, Centre for Economic and Regional Studies, Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
Before, I was also at the Research Department of Magyar Nemzeti Bank (read here about my departure if interested).
My main research interest are (1) resilience, (2) the measurement of wellbeing, (3) inequality and poverty, (4) nominal, financial and real aspects of convergence and their interplay, (5) international business cycles, (6) sovereign borrowing and risk, (7) the behavioral response to taxation, and (8) banking and finance, macro-finance linkages.
