I am an Associate Professor with Habilitation in Econometrics at ISEG – Lisbon School of Economics and Management, University of Lisbon. I joined ISEG in 2017, was promoted to Associate Professor in 2023, and completed my Habilitation in Applied Mathematics to Economics and Management in 2025. I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of Warwick and have previously held academic positions at ISCTE-IUL, the University of Exeter, the University of Amsterdam and the University of Cambridge.
My research focuses on econometric theory, particularly estimation and inference under moment restrictions (GMM and GEL), quantile and mode regression, and bootstrap methods for statistical inference.
I have published in a variety of academic journals including Journal of Econometrics, Journal of Business and Economics Statistics and Econometric Theory. The list of my published articles can be found here.
