I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics of ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics and Management, University of Lisbon.
Previously I was
a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher at Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL),  an Assistant Professor at the Universities of Exeter and Amsterdam and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge.  I obtained my PhD in Economics from the University of Warwick.

My research is primarily on econometric theory. I have been working on the following topics: the general theory of estimation and inference in models defined through moment restrictions using the generalised method of moments and generalised empirical likelihood, quantile and mode regressions, and the bootstrap.
