I am a Professor of Economics at Ecole Polytechnique-CREST, a Research Affiliate at CEPR and BREAD, and an Associate Editor at Economic Journal. I am also a member of the Council of Economic Analysis to the French Prime Minister (CAE).
Previously, I was an Assistant then Associate Professor at the University of Amsterdam. I visited the Economic Growth Center at Yale University in the Fall 2019 and the California Center for Population Research at UCLA in the Fall 2023.
My fields of research are Development Economics, Family Economics and Applied Microeconomics.
In 2021, I was awarded an ERC Starting grant for my project "Peers and Possible Partners: Exploring the Origins of Population Long-term Equilibria" (P3OPLE).
