I am a Full Professor at the University of São Paulo and a former visiting scholar at Yale University (2018–2019). I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of São Paulo (2012). My research focuses on policy evaluation and development economics, focusing on environmental economics, health economics, and gender economics. From 2023 to 2026, I served as the president of the FEA-USP Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
Currently, I am the president of the Brazilian Econometric Society (2026-2027) and a J-PAL Invited Researcher. I am a member of the research committee of Rede PP&S, EconomistAs [Brazilian Women in Economics], NUPENS-USP, and USPproClima. I have also been part of the Brazilian delegation for climate negotiations at the International Maritime Organization (IMO) since 2018.
I am also affiliated with the research groups NEREUS-USP and GeFam. I coordinate the EconomistAs' Podcast together with Prof. Laura Karpuska. I was a speaker at the TEDxUSP Sustainability in 2025.
