I am a Full Professor at the University of São Paulo and a former visiting scholar at Yale University (2018–2019). I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of São Paulo (2012). My research focuses on policy evaluation, environmental economics, health economics, and gender economics. From 2023 to 2026, I served as the president of the FEA-USP Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
Currently, I am the president of the Brazilian Econometric Society (2026-2027) and a J-PAL Invited Researcher. I am a member of the research committee of Rede PP&S, EconomistAs [Brazilian Women in Economics], NUPENS-USP, and USPproClima. I have also been part of the Brazilian delegation for climate negotiations at the International Maritime Organization (IMO) since 2018.
I am also affiliated with the research groups NEREUS-USP, and GeFam. I coordinate the EconomistAs' Podcast together with Prof. Laura Karpuska. I was also a speaker at the TEDxUSP Sustainability in 2025.
