This was the first Dual meet District Dual victory for Emmaus HS ever.....
Highlights from last night...Dan Oberle with his 2 pins is now 27-5, 21 by Fall...Tyler Corpora scored 2 decisions over top 10 District wrestlers, Dylan Brown of Freedom and Richard Bentz of Pottsville. Corpora is now 26-9 on the season.....Lucas Schaf split 2 bouts last night. His 7-3 loss to Luke Gardner was at 145 lbs and was a very respectable match against a heavier opponent. Schaf is now 31-2 on the season with a team leading 9 TF's.....James Bowie picked up his 5th win of the season with a key pin against Chris Guadagnino of Freedom.....Jacob Alcaro won both of his bouts last night scoring a 9-1 Major Decision and pitched a 4-0 shutout against Braden Goodman of Pottsville. Matt Hamato scored a 19-3 TF against Freedom which now puts Matt at 24-9 this season
The Hornets will take on Liberty tomorrow morning at Freedom HS in the wrestlbacks at 9AM. Liberty got the best of us last week 46-14 in the EPC Tournament. 7 of those bouts were decided by a takedown or less.
