Currently, I am a Principal Research Economist at the Research Division of the Monetary Policy Department at Bank of Latvia (Latvijas Banka).  Until the end of June 2021, I was a Principal Economist at the Center for Excellence in Finance and Economic Research (CEFER) of the Bank of Lithuania (Lietuvos Bankas) and until the end of December 2021, I was a Researcher at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Vilnius University

The Monetary Research and Forecasting Division at Bank of Latvia (Latvijas Banka), I also visited within the Schuman Programme between October 2018 and April 2019 to work on joint research projects related to estimated DSGE models and forecasting. Furthermore, I was an External Researcher and a Research Assistant in the area "Financial Markets" at the Leibniz Institute for Financial Research SAFE, located at Goethe University Frankfurt. 

I finished my doctoral studies within the Ph.D. in Finance Program at the Graduate School of Finance, Economics and Management (GSEFM) at Goethe University Frankfurt in February 2015 with the public defense of my Ph.D. thesis.
