I am currently a Principal Data Scientist at Microsoft. During the years, I have led various Computer Vision / Machine Learning efforts with teams of 5-10 contributors. These projects involved multiple internal and external customer engagements from problem specification, testing, to a published solution in the cloud.
I had the pleasure to guide and mentor over 25 people during weekly 1:1s, in addition to my personal code contributions.
One example of my work is the open-source Computer Vision best-practices (CVBP) repository which I started and currently has over 8,000 stars on GitHub. The repository contains a collection of IP which was developed while working on internal and external projects, with focus on code quality, unit and integration testing, etc. The repository supports many common Computer Vision scenarios including image classification, object detection, image similarity, image segmentation, action recognition, crowd counting, object tracking, keypoint detection, etc.
