To help start making a high order "filter maker" can be used.

If LPBW or HPBW is written in LPHP column the filter order, frequency and load impedance can be spesified. Q value is disregarded as a Butterworthfilter is calculated.

Mark the row, click 'calc and transfer' button and new first and second order filters will be calculated. The result is shown in the table as new rows. The component values is inserted into the spesified filter.

An active filter with the same Butterworth response is also calculated and inserted into the Active filter table.

NOTE: A passive filter with finite load impedance will have different Q values from a active filter!
