The Friends meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 7 pm at the Library. All are welcome.
The Friends of the Parma Public Library is a nonprofit, volunteer organization that supports the
activities of the Library. The Friends operate Mainly Books located at 24 Main Street, Hilton, next door to Hilton Family Pharmacy. They also run book sales held in the Library's meeting room. All proceeds benefit the Library. The Friends fund projects such as the V.I.P. Pass program which provides discounted admission to local cultural institutions, the library's art classes, Summer Reading performers and prizes. They also generously fund upgrades to the library such as the displays that hold community information and tax forms and giant pillow animals in the Children's Area. To join the Friends, stop by the Library or Mainly Books to complete a membership form. Membership is $5 per year for individuals.
