December: The students in Grade 1/2 read the book "Orange Pear Apple Bear" and then created a rhythmic pattern based on what they thought a bear would like to eat.
Here is each class' version of singing and playing "Fuzzy Wuzzy". In between each time they sing and play students say their rhythmic food patterns.
April and May:
"April Showers bring May Flowers". To celebrate the coming of Spring, students created rhythm patterns using flower names. They added percussion instruments and rain sounds to create the following compositions.
