Frequently Asked Questions - Public Tours

Are the tours only for parents with newborns?

The tours are designed for parents to attend with babies of any age in a baby carrier or stroller. Although the tours are geared towards adults, older babies and walking children are also welcome to attend.

Can my friend without a baby attend?

Absolutely! Everyone is welcome to attend as long as they like being around babies and art!

Do I have to register in advance?

Advance registration is highly recommended and is the only way to secure your spot on the tour. Most museums have a strict tour capacity limit and priority will be given to those who registered in advance. For the car tours, advance registration is required.

How do the car tours work?

You and your baby will stay in the car throughout the entire tour and we will drive from each stop to the next. In the beginning, you will be asked to dial into an audio call and remain connected during the tour. At each stop, we will park and listen to the live tour on the call. You will be able to (and are encouraged!) to ask questions, share observations, and participate as you normally would in an in-person tour. Crying babies are, of course, always welcome.

For the car tours, will we be getting out of the car?

No. The car tour takes place entirely in your car using the audio from your phone. You are welcome to return to certain spots on your own afterwards, but we will not be gathering outdoors as a group.

What if I buy a ticket and can't attend last minute?

Things never go exactly as planned when babies are involved! If you are unable to attend the tour after purchasing a ticket, just let us know and we will issue you a credit for another tour. Please let us know as soon as you are able so that we can inform others on the waiting list about the available spot.

Where can I find out about new tours?

New tours will be posted on this website and our social media pages (so be sure to follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!). Tours will also be announced via email (click here to join our email list).

How can I buy tours for someone else as a gift?

Are strollers allowed?

Most museums allow standard strollers, but not oversized (jogger, etc.) strollers. If you are concerned about the stroller size, it's best to check with the museum directly or let us know. Based on feedback from past tour participants, avoiding the stroller and bringing a baby carrier is the best way to go!

What are the ticket prices for public tours?

Ticket prices range from $6-$19 per adult depending on the tour. In some cases museum admission is not included and that will be noted in the tour registration information. We are currently exploring sponsorship options, which would enable us to offer discounted admission price for the group.

How can I become a tour/s sponsor?

We are always looking for new tour sponsors to enable us to visit museums and cultural institutions that we may not otherwise be able to visit due to admission or group prices. We offer tour sponsorship options at various levels, so please let us know if you are interested and we will send you more information.
