Paqueo Open General project

This site contains my own projects for the great PC wargame Open General - OG (a new version of the SSI classic Panzer General 2 developped by Luis Guzman).

Currently I am working on three different campaigns:

- "The Spanish American War": A campaign based on the loss of the Spanish Empire in 1898 against the US and the Cuban and Filipino rebels. Episode I on the Pacific theater (The Philippines) has already been released. Episode II on the Caribbean theater (Cuba and Puerto Rico) is in progress.

- "Spain in World War 2": A fictitious campaign on the hypothetical participation of Spain in WW2. A sample scenario is ready.

- "The Belgian Campaign in Ethiopia": second chapter of the Belgian epic in WW2 (check the first chapter -The Campaign of the 18 Days- in the campaigns page). Focused on the Belgian "Force Public" contribution to the East Africa Campaign in spring 1941. Reserach and design phase.

I am also working in two collaborative campaigns with other colleagues of the OG community:

- Turkish campaign: with two scenarios: "Gallipolli" and "Kut"

- Spanish military expeditions of the XIX century: with two scenarios "Gaeta" and "Margallo war".

For those campaigns that have not been finished yet, you can play some individual scenarios to "savour the flavour".
