Radar Remote Sensing
The observation of the Earth from space using a Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) has provided the possibility to obtain high resolution images at any time and weather conditions. However, when looking at a moving target, conventional SAR produce defocused images. Our contribution to this field is the proposal of adaptive algorithms for detection and focusing of moving targets with SAR, developed within the European Project SIMTISYS.
