Panorama as I see it

Panorama is a unique area firstly because of its geographical position . Whenever you stand in a balcony (or just elsewher) of its beautifully designed houses you feel free . The view is magnificent breath-taking , you can watch the whole thessaloniki day and night , and abmire its glory . While if you watch from another side you can see the mountain Hortiatis . Its like being a king and the view is your kingdom.

Panorama is still called a village yet it may not be so . It was once . When you hear old residents talking about it , you stand still .You cannot visualize how it could have been like with goats and fields . Maybe because of its being now full of life , people , shops .It is altering in a quick pace , as the whole world does anyway .However , it still retains its village quality in many ways .People seem to know each other .You can verify this statement by simply taking a walk with one of panorama's old residents , and therefore see for yourself the way he greats everyone and talks to every shop owner.

Also every Friday night Panorama becomes a youthmeeting place , for the youngsters of Panorama ,Hortiatis and Pilea. The cafe's and bars and the fastfood restaurants are filled with teenagers who meet and entairtain themselves in the best way possible .

Apart from that Panorama can be attractive for other reasons .We have clubs both traditional and athletic , a brand-new townhall , excellent and new sport facilities (basketball court , football pitch , tennis court , swimming pool).

I like Panorama the place I live in , someone might say 'well who doesn't like the place he lives in '.Well I wouldn't like living in a place full of fumes and aparment building levels reaching high to the sky. In a place where there is no presnce of nature . Panorama remains a big village in a big city (like Thessaloniki ) and whoever comes here will definetely not regret it .
